We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay at an off-grid cabin. This 420 sq ft. cabin sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. The driveway can fit up to 2 cars. The little cabin has a beautiful brook running through the property all year-round. This is where you will get your water source from. Perfect to sit on the deck sipping your coffee or glass of wine while hearing the sound of the water and trees. The location is breathtaking and great to disconnect from the outside world. To add on to your romantic experience, at night you can walk over the little mini bridge over to the fire pit surrounded by the ambient lighting and just unwind. There is also a hidden waterfall only 5 minutes away! There is also a ceiling fan and extra portable fan for your convenience. Is there hot water? You may use the water from the brook, bucket and immersion water heater. Electric water kettle provided for hot water. Is there a bathroom? There is a HEATED outhouse so you don’t have to freeze in the winter season. In there you will find a BRAND NEW INCINERATOR TOILET (odor free and completely sanitary). Instructions are in outhouse. You can clean your hands with the hand sanitizer. Is there electricity? Yes! We provide 200amp electricity. Don't worry you will have lots of light, charge your phone, watch tv or even cook inside. We provide 2 rechargeable lanterns for night trips to the outhouse or hiking. Is there firewood? We don’t provide log wood for the fire pit, but if you want to bring an axe you can use all the tree bark that’s stacked up. If you don’t want to chop logs, then you can buy some packs from the nearest market. 1 Dog is allowed during your stay for an additional $50 fee (with approval). Must add pet fee in booking inquiry. They MUST BE TRAINED and HOUSE BROKEN. We ask that dogs DO NOT get on the beds or couch out of respect for other people's allergies. Bring a dog blanket/ bed for your pet to stay off the carpet/rugs. Sometimes they are not both rented at the same time. Please inquire! -Our bathroom is a HEATED OUTHOUSE with a BRAND NEW INCINERATOR TOILET (odor free and completely sanitary). ***1) USE BOWL LINER 2) THEN FLUSH PEDAL 3) THEN PRESS INCINERATOR BUTTON AFTER EVERY SINGLE USE*** -There is a rough dirt road that leads you to the cabin. During times of rain or snow this road can be VERY muddy. We recommend AWD vehicles, though most trucks or SUV’s should make it just fine. Some cars could handle it, but there’s a possibility of getting stuck in the event of snow or rain. Please take this into consideration while planning your trip! - There is NO running water. You will get your water source from the brook and 50 gal. rain barrel on the property. Bring drinking water (5 gallon and bottled). We recommend bringing baby wipes to help with hygiene. If you use the dishes, keep in mind you’ll need eco friendly soup to clean the dishes outside. - SHOWER- You use the water from the brook or rain barrel with a bucket. The pop up shower tent is right under the stairs. We provide a portable electric shower head and immersion bucket water heater/thermometer (85 degrees is comfortable for a hot shower). - WE ARE IN THE ADIRONDACKS SURROUNDED BY NATURE so there will be wildlife, bugs, and webs every now and then. We have an exterminator go out quarterly and our cleaner will do their best to keep the bugs out. Bring extra bug spray. - The cabin is located 25 minutes from the nearest convenience store and gas station (everything is on main street- you will pass it on the way to the cabin). So make sure to get what you need before arriving. - We just installed a brand new powerful 10,000 BTU LG AC unit that cools the entire cabin. There is a cast iron propane gas fireplace for heating. We also provide space heaters for extra warmth and a ceiling fan/portable fan for convenience. - DO NOT charge EV cars with cabin. Not enough voltage to withstand that. - We provide WIFI, FREE NETFLIX and FIRE STICK for streaming. Do not unplug routers at any point during your stay. - 1 Dog is allowed during your stay for an additional $50 fee (with approval). Must add pet fee in booking inquiry. They MUST BE TRAINED and HOUSE BROKEN. We ask that dogs DO NOT get on the beds or couch out of respect for other people's allergies. Bring a dog blanket/ bed for your pet to stay off the carpet/rugs. Never leave them unattended/loose in the cabin. Must bring a crate. PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG AND WALK THEM AWAY FROM THE PROPERTY (property must be clean/sanitary for the next guests.) $500 FEE IF EVIDENCE OF PETS ON FURNITURE OR WASTE LEFT ON PROPERTY. KEEP LEASHED AT ALL TIMES OUT OF RESPECT FOR GUESTS/DOGS IN THE OTHER RED CABIN. *NO CATS ALLOWED* - Must share your ID- for security purposes only. - NO SMOKING inside the cabin. $500 FEE IF SMELL/ EVIDENCE IS FOUND. If smoking outside, do not throw buds on the floor or deck (only in garbage). - ELECTRIC CARS- You CANNOT CHARGE your car at the cabin. Both cabins are connected together and does not support enough voltage for your vehicle. Please come prepared and fully charged. ***It's very important for us to be upfront about all of this, as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control.
